I’m from Georgetown, You’re from Harvard; So What?

I’M a student in international relations from Georgetown, you’re a med student at Harvard. Who’s brighter between the two of us? I believe no one’s superior among us. I believe that both Georgetown and Harvard offer excellent education services and are equally the best in the world.
Aside from the realities of an academic life, there are lots of pleasures that we can both enjoy in our respective campuses. We can both enjoy sports activities throughout the year and if we participate in tryouts, we can even be members of sports teams which we can carry on with pride in every endeavor we go anywhere in the country or even in the world.
Since we’re both freshmen, there is still ample time on what organization we’ll join, right? There are dozens and dozens of student organizations that are existing in this oldest Jesuit learning institution in the country. Some of them are the following: Active Minds, Aikido Club, Anime Club, Astronomical Society, Ballroom Dance Club, Breast Cancer Outreach, Catholic Daughters, College Academic Council, Croquet Society, Cycling Team, Eco-Action, Georgetown Emergency Responsible Medical Service, Men’s Club Water Polo, Georgetown University Student Association, Grilling Society, Groove Theory, acapella group Harmony, Hilltop Consultants, Hoya Blue, Hoya Dance Team, student publication The Hoya, International Relations Club, Leaders in Education About Diversity, Lecture Fund, Medieval Club, Men Advocating Relationship Responsibility, Club Lacrosse, Mock Trial, Nomadic Troupe, On the Docket, Parliamentary Debate, Peace Action, Pep Band, Philosophical Society, gay lobbyists PRIDE, Right to Life, Students Against the Death Penalty, Students for Free Trade, Students of Ailing Fathers and Mothers, Students Taking Action Now Darfur, Taekwondo Club, Ultimate Frisbee and Club Soccer, among others.
While you’re there in Harvard, you can join the Harvard Crimson, the Harvard Glee Club, the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, WHRB, Harvard Model Congress and Harvard National Model United Nations.
When it comes to athletics, there are lots of teams to choose from in both universities like baseball, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, swimming, sailing, tennis and golf. There in Harvard, I may suggest that you join the swimming team since you were a swimming varsity in high school. Or you can join the regatta team of your campus. In fact, the Radcliffe regatta team has recently advanced to the finals of a regatta cup last Sunday.
While staying in Georgetown, I enjoy seeing the scenic beauty of my own campus. Everyday I get to see Dahlgren Quadrangle, the Red Square, the Lauinger Library and the Riggs Library. Aside from that, the university is blessed with an overview of the Potomac River, large clusters of trees and flowers, fountains like the one in the Dahlgren Quadrangle and a cemetery. Architectures of all edifices are collegiate Gothic and Georgian brick.
I’m pretty sure you have your share of scenic delights in Harvard too. Among the many sights you have there in Cambridge are the Harvard Stadium, the many library branches, Sever Hall, University Hall, Memorial Church, freshmen dormitories where you are staying right now and the rest of the 12 residential houses. I am looking for a harmonious interaction with you for the succeeding four years.
